Clinical Supervision

All therapists have an original project, which can be mastered through observing their work with perspective and bringing themselves as co-creators of the narrative they bring to supervision.

Supervision supports the therapist’s work by strengthening the therapist’s own awareness of their role in the therapeutic relationship. Clinical supervision is a space for the therapist to be both comfortable and challenged. Supervision helps the therapist to provide a service, which is faithful to principles and creative with methodologies.

Bárbara follows the Code of Ethics and practice as set by the UKCP and is in regular clinical supervision on an individual basis with Prof.
Ernesto Spinelli. The previous supervisor was Lucy Moja-Strasser.

Bárbara’s academic experience in the theory and practice of advanced existential analysis includes lecturing at Doctorate, MA and Advance Diploma courses at the School of Psychotherapy and Counselling Psychology, Regent’s University and the New School of Psychotherapy and Counselling founded by Emmy van Deurzen.
